about us

Heavens door is a unique house of character with high ceilings, dramatic recycled metal industrial art and quirkiness reflecting the owners love of art and support of local artists. Each room is individually and luxuriously decorated. Being big travellers ourselves we dont like having to eat breakfast at a set time so have provided fridges in the rooms stocked with a varied supply of goodies for breakfast! You can make your own breakfast and eat when you wake up at your own leisure in bed, on the balcony while watching the Gozitans go about their day in the street below or at the swimming pool. We encourage the intrepid traveller and so provide a lot of information on the secret beaches, coves and local places rather than encourage generic tours in Gozo.

We encourage the intrepid traveller and so provide a lot of information on the secret beaches, coves and local places rather than encourage generic tours in Gozo. We highly recommend stand up paddle tours in summer, as this is a great way to explore the island in summer and reach places that are not accessable by land. Hiring a scooter or electric bike for at least one day is a good idea as there are beaches such as Dahlet qorrot, Mgarr Xini and Wied el Ghasri which are more pleasant to access by car.
